dealing with change

well, change is always an interesting thing. you always want it when you dont have it, then when it comes you dont want it anymore. i think change is finally sinking in now. its the middle of october almost and i just now feel the fact that i graduated from college in may. im a slow learner... anyways. what the hek? i mean, was i really there for four years? i think most of all i miss my community at auburn. talk about some studly people... geeze. i definitely realized community like that is special when i spent some time in montana. it was a wake up call. but, here i am in mobile. ive only been here a week and man do i fight the temptation to go into a pity party-- Praise the Lord!! our God is faithful and any time my mind wonders to the things i miss, like auburn, people, encounter... He stops my heart from hurt and turns it to thanksgiving. i find myself thanking HIm for what was and praising Him that it still is and that i play a part just as much here in mobile as i did there. that is what is so great. when you fall in love with things that are eternal you never have to leave them. it makes you think twice before you invest your life into something. so, BE where you are. enjoy HIm and see that He is what you enjoy in everything and everyone.. and He goes before you and with you. what peace it is to know that He KNOWS and is in control. He already has lined up the people i will meet here in Mobile, the job i will find, the grad school i will get into, the people i will meet there.. the list goes on. just hear from Him now, and seek Him today, not where He has you tomorrow
on another note: my mom really wants me to get married and have children. haha... the other night we went to dinner and i was sharing how me and jamie were going to hang out. and my mom said, yall need to go find some boys. haha.. i was like alrighty then. the problem is that there are some new babies in our family and there is all the hype about them and so my mom is getting grandma fever. she really wants to be one. and, we all know how far i am from that.
