falling behind...

im really not a good blogger these days. for a while in the beginning of my bloggage i lived life in a way that would be good to blog about. i thought, hmm... let's do something fun today so i have something good to put on my blog. hah, no worries. i am free of that addiction now. now life carries on apart from the blog. my concern now is catching my blog up to all the life that has happened without the blog's help.

i am counting days until i move to nashville. im excited about the change. no nerves just yet about what lies ahead. i pray that this continues. confident i am going with one purpose, to make much of Jesus in graduate school, there is really not much to worry about. its straying from that path that makes for nervous thoughts. i throw up a little bit when i think of turning into a graduate student just for the sake of getting another degree. i probably have shared this before, but it helps to reaffirm motives.

anyhow, currently i am loving nickel creek. how ever did i not like them. i just purchased their new album and have listened to it about 8 times in less than 36 hours. i also have been trying to win tickets to their show in mobile in june. two more chances. here's hoping. if you like them i may give you the other ticket i win. that is, if i like you too. hah.

in other news, the Lord graciously brought together the most chaotic effort on my part to hold a youth fundraiser in the form of a dinner and show. it should not have gone as smoothly as it did. but, all Glory to the one who made it possible. im not made for youth ministry, at least being the head of it. what a lesson He is teaching me in these days.

also, i would like to open the invitation for a fairly extensive road trip in the end of july to anyone who is available and interested. the biggest cost will be time and money. the biggest gain- ADVENTURE. seriously, if you know anyone who is looking for a crazy road trip out west with a few days hiking in Glacier Natl Park, send them my way. i need people to go with. with gas prices soaring me and gretta can't make it on our own. or, if you can think of some way for me to fly to montana for dirt cheap... that is welcome to. most of all, i just have to get back out there before school starts.

anyways, thats some of my life.
